Aug 26, 2006 - Nightlife in McCook

We headed back to McCook's Bieroc Cafe for an evening of fun, food, music, laughter, and getting to meet more people in the community. The informal gathering gave us an opportunity to kick back and relax. The Heritage Singers were very entertaining and the only one who seemed to be slightly distracted was Swap & Shop Anne because she knew the chance to make trades across Nebraska was coming to an end.

Bieroc's Cafe Matt is now the proud owner of a zipper tie and Anne is now the proud owner of a dozen, delightful, dazzling-decorated, dutch-chocolate donuts and daintily decorated Danish. This dastardly feat on Anne's part would be even more important if Erika, Tam and Anne were trying to collect things that started with the letter "D." I wonder what that's all about?

Knowing that our time together would soon be drawing to a close, the driver's meeting lasted late into the night. There were just too many details to work out at this late stage of the Rt 6 Nebraska Art Car Tour to let even one detail slip through our fingers or webbed toes.
