Monday, August 21, 2006 - Runza

Photos by Paul McRae: Becky and Don pose at Runza. Several Art Car Drivers in line to order food at Runza.

Becky, you're awesome! On the day you introduced the new Runza Chipotle Chicken Sandwich you also introduced your customers to Art Car Artists at the Runza at 70th & Van Dorn. Aeor Car 2 was another big hit but Emerge-N-See attracted the most attention. As usual, everyone from Nebraska had to look on the map covering Don's Route 6 Cruiser to see if they could find their town.

Becky, your staff took great care of us and thanks for the lunches. Always one to break the rules, Anne asked for a sundae that had both caramel and chocolate on it and then gloated in front of everyone else.

Is this the time to mention that Paul locked the keys in ChewBaru? Yes, it's true and it's the saddest story I've ever heard. I certainly hope we are not developing a trend of Paul trying to see how many town there are in Nebraska where he can lock the keys in the car.

What to do with the keys, oh what to do with the keys? We have duct tape and a staple gun. Always being helpful, the other Art Car Artists volunteered to affix the keys to his forehead so they wouldn't get locked in the car. Paul is still thinking it over but the rest of us had a secret meeting and decided that we would give him one more chance.

We enjoyed meeting you, Becky, and look forward to working with Runza again next year.
