Paul's Tomato Addiction
In the rush of the last few days we didn't have time to talk about Paul's tomato addiction very much but here are more details for those of you who thought he had forgotten about tomatoes.
Erika's $5 challenge item was to purchase a stuffed tomato for Paul - think stuffed like a stuffed animal, not stuffed like filled with chicken salad. Although she declared Paul the winner, the tomato was still a very sweet and succulent gift. Not wanting to let it get too far from him, Paul asked Anne to sew a string on it. Even though she used the needle and thread from Swap & Shop she knew how important this was to him so she didn't even try to work out a swap for her services. Just seeing the smile on his face was enough to melt her heart.
Paul showed his appreciation to Erika by wearing the tomato on top of his head in McCook, during the drivers meeting, and at Imperial. We're not sure if he slept with it on his head but that is a very personal matter between Paul and his tomato so we're giving him the opportunity to keep that secret.
